We are thrilled to announce our participation in the world’s largest space congress, the International Astronautical Congress (IAC) 2023, which took place in Baku, Azerbaijan. As a global gathering of brilliant minds in the space industry, this event unites researchers, students, teachers, and space enthusiasts from around the world.
Skyline Space, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Astronomy and Science Society (TASS), conducted a remarkable event known as “Star Party 2023” across 1000 locations in Tamil Nadu. This event was aimed at providing students from schools and colleges, as well as the general public, the opportunity to observe celestial objects through telescopes and engage with the wonders of the night sky. The program spanned three days, from January 7th to January 9th, 2023, and took place at three distinct venues in the Dindigul district. This initiative was supported by various organizations, including the Department of School Education – Gov. of Tamil Nadu and Vigyan Prasar.
Skyline Space, in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Astronomy and Science Society, conducted “Moon Fest 200” on February 27, 2023, at MVM Government Arts College for Women, Dindigul. This event aimed to foster a deeper understanding of space science and night sky observation among school, college students, and the general public.
On October 21, 2023, Skyline Space with our TESO Student Space community came together to present an illuminating space talk for the students and teachers of Dindigul District Government Model School, coinciding with International Observe the Moon Night. The event focused on the Moon’s origin, exploring its formation and providing insights into lunar geology, its Earthly influence, and the rich history of human exploration. This special event left the students and teachers with a profound appreciation for the Moon and a renewed fascination with the boundless wonders of the cosmos.
